From a programming background in the 1980s, Derrick ran the engineering side of the business until 1999 and then made the move to Account Management, focussing on advising and selling solutions to his clients. His technical background enables him to clearly explain the features and benefits of complex IT solutions to clients. He is also the primary contact for HBC’s key technology partners and takes responsibility for selecting HBC’s strategy through its preferred products and solutions.

Lindsey joined HBC during its transition to an Employee Ownership Trust and later assumed the position of MD from Kieron in 2023. With over 30 years of accountancy experience, Lindsey expertly oversees the financial, legal and personnel functions of the company. She is dedicated to working with and supporting the entire team at all levels.

With over 30 years of service at HBC, Graham’s role as Technical Director is to oversee and enhance operational activities and to implement the necessary processes across all departments contributing to HBC’s strategic objectives and future growth. Leading by example, Graham is trusted by clients and serves as a pillar of strength at HBC, recognised for his structured thinking and ability to facilitate innovative thought and ideas.
Sales Director

Since joining HBC in 2012, Olly has demonstrated exceptional growth and expertise across various departments, including Helpdesk, Engineering and Account Management. Utilising his extensive product and technical knowledge, Olly now leads the Sales Team as Director, providing insight and guidance to our customers. His dedication and understanding of the industry enable him to drive success for both our clients and company.

Ed joined HBC as an Account Manager, following HBC's acquisition of his company in 2012. He uses his engineering background to provide ongoing advice and account management to both existing and new clients, who continue to trust us to supply the right solutions and help navigate and select the best technological advances to suit each client's individual business needs.

Graeme brings many years of technical and sales experience gained from previously running his own successful IT business overseas. This background enables him to give the best advice with the unique requirements of existing and future clients.

Stuart joined us through the acquisition of Networking Fundamentals and has proven to be a great asset. With extensive engineering experience and involvement in numerous larger projects, he now applies his vast engineering knowledge in his account management role to support and develop his clients.

Hard-working, well-organised and with a wealth of knowledge in a broad range of technology products, Rob is HBC’s Project Manager. He’s involved in discussing existing and new clients’ requirements and delivering solutions to drive their technology forward in order to improve their efficiency and output. Rob works alongside Derrick to evaluate new products and technologies.
Senior Engineer/Cyber Security Officer

Jason spends much of his time visiting his regular clients to provide them with IT support and complete their IT housekeeping jobs as if he was part of their own staff. He assists customers with Cyber Essentials, Cyber Security risk assessments and PCI compliance. He also gets regularly involved with network and PC installations and upgrades and also has regular shifts as part of the Helpdesk team. He is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Professional.
Senior Engineer

Rich is part of the engineering furniture, either visiting clients to complete installations or scheduled IT housekeeping visits or working on the Helpdesk. His skills range from HP Servers and PCs to Microsoft network and application products and as well as being a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate he is also a Certified Sonicwall Security Administrator and an Apple Professional. Rich has some long-standing regular clients in addition to some recent clients and is very focussed on providing the best service and giving clients clear and objective advice.

Andy is a multi talented engineer and can resolve the vast majority of the challenges that are requested of him. His adaptability and patience are legendary. His interest and ability in finding the best solution for clients is a great asset to us. His time is split between client visits for IT housekeeping work and installations and time dealing with calls on the Helpdesk.

Brandon offers his expertise to facilitate smooth projects and provide on-site client assistance. His recent achievement of the SonicWALL SNSA Certification enhances his ability to support senior engineers on important projects. Brandon demonstrates proficiency in independent server and machine installations, ensuring clients receive high-quality service and dependable solutions.

Jared is one of the friendly faces behind the scenes at Hampshire Business Computers! Having recently transitioned from the Helpdesk Team, he now enjoys meeting clients in person to ensure their IT systems run smoothly. Known for his warm customer service and technical skill, Jared is dedicated to delivering solutions for our valued customers. When he's not out in the field, Jared is busy lending a hand to the Helpdesk team, tackling day-to-day challenges with a smile.

Paul works in the Helpdesk team and has extensive experience in providing technical support and guidance across a wide range of technologies. Paul enjoys problem solving and is always happy to offer help and guidance on any issue our customers may have.

Tom is the newest member of our team mainly dealing with 1st line queries from the Helpdesk. He is keen to assist and support our clients along with the rest of the team.

After over 25 years of dedicated service at HBC, Theresa has passed her primary responsibilities to Kate. However, she remains an invaluable asset to our team, providing ongoing support and assisting the Accounts and Administration Team managing day-to-day operations and projects.
Finance Manager

Kate confidently leads our busy Accounts and Administration Team and looks after the internal accounts processes and formalities and also for our subsidiary in Bristol, Clifton IT Limited.
Sales Support
Joined HBC in 2001
Victoria manages our extensive clients’ asset and product details and advises on all forthcoming renewals as part of our managed services to clients. She also gets involved with sales ledger invoicing, in particular managing the invoicing process for recurring services and the approval and entry of related purchase ledger invoices. She also works with our internet providers to process orders and a variety of other exciting administrative work!
Purchasing Manager

Steve managed our Helpdesk for six years and we felt he’d suffered enough and appointed him as our Buyer when Ralph retired. He spends much of his time processing orders and dealing with our internal sales team and our trusty suppliers to ensure that all the goods required are with us in time for pre-configuration and the scheduled installation dates for our clients. He also configures much of the incoming hardware and manages the stock.
Accounts Assistant

Samantha works in our accounts department dealing with the sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control. She also supports the admin department answering incoming calls and logging support requests and other duties.
