Kieron is one of the founder members of HBC and has guided changes in the business goals as technology has developed and clients’ requirements from HBC have grown. Still very much involved in managing his clients and meeting new ones, he has been involved in a number of acquisitions over the years to enhance and expand the business. He is also very much involved with the accounting and administration functions and managing the team.

From a programming background in the 1980s, Derrick ran the engineering side of the business until 1999 and then made the move to Account Manager, focussing on advising and selling solutions to his clients. His technical knowledge enables him to easily lay out the features and benefits of the often complex solutions available to clients in moving their IT systems forward to remain secure and efficient. He is also the primary contact for HBC’s key technology partners and takes responsibility for selecting HBC’s strategy through its preferred products and solutions.
Engineering Manager
HBC’s greatest asset is its engineering skills and Graham has been patiently and expertly contributing his personal skills and managing the engineering team for many years. Not easily fazed, Graham is trusted by the client base and a pillar of strength at HBC.
Project Manager
Hard-working, well-organised and with a wealth of knowledge in a broad range of technology products, Rob is HBC’s Project Manager. He’s involved in discussing existing and new clients’ requirements and delivering solutions to drive their technology forward in order to improve their efficiency and output. Rob works alongside Derrick to evaluate new products and technologies.
Account Manager
Following HBC’s acquisition of Ed’s company, Networking Fundamentals, in December 2012 he joined HBC as an Account Manager. Initially ensuring that his client base was carefully managed through the transition and his team’s skills and contacts were shared with HBC, he now uses his engineering background to provide ongoing advice and account management to both existing and new clients.

Olly joined the HBC Sales Team in October 2019. After completing a Microsoft apprenticeship in 2013 he worked as both a Helpdesk and on-site Engineer before taking over management of the Helpdesk in 2017. His product knowledge and engineering experience allow him to effectively advise customers as an Account Manager.
Sales Support

Victoria manages our extensive clients’ asset and product details within our internal helpdesk system and advises on all forthcoming renewals as part of our managed services to clients. She also manages the invoicing process for recurring services to our clients and the approval and entry of Purchase Ledger invoices. Victoria also raises our maintenance contracts, works with our internet providers to process orders and helps with general invoicing, buying and a variety of other exciting administrative work ! She is also our Health and Safety representative.
Accounts and Administration Manager

Theresa is our long-suffering Accounts and Administration Manager. She is skilled and experienced in Sage 200 and Sage Line 50 accounting products and provides client support for Sage as well as managing our own Accounts processes and she is responsible for preparing our Management and annual Accounts for HBC and Flair 4 IT, our subsidiary in Bristol. She also manages the HR and Payroll work and oversees all the administration systems.
Purchasing Manager

Steve managed our Helpdesk for six years and we felt he’d suffered enough and appointed him as our Buyer when Ralph retired. He spends much of his time processing orders and dealing with our internal sales team and our trusty suppliers to ensure that all the goods required are with us in time for pre-configuration and the scheduled installation dates for our clients. He also configures much of the incoming hardware and manages the stock.

Rich is part of the engineering furniture, either visiting clients to complete installations or scheduled IT housekeeping visits or working on the Helpdesk. His skills range from HP Servers and PCs to Microsoft network and application products and as well as being a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate he is also a Certified Sonicwall Security Administrator and an Apple Professional. Rich has some long-standing regular clients in addition to some recent clients and is very focussed on providing the best service and giving clients clear and objective advice.

Jason spends much of his time visiting his regular clients to provide them with IT support and complete their IT housekeeping jobs as if he was part of their own staff. Like many of the engineers he is a virtual IT department to his client base and a trusted advisor. He also gets regularly involved with network and PC installations and upgrades and also has regular shifts as part of the Helpdesk team. He is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Professional.

Andy is a multi talented engineer and can resolve the vast majority of the challenges that are requested of him. His adaptability and patience are legendary . His interest and ability in finding the best solution for clients is a great asset to us. His time is split between client visits for IT housekeeping work and installations and time dealing with calls on the Helpdesk.

Stuart joined us when we acquired Networking Fundamentals and has proven to be a great asset. He spilts his time across installations, Disaster Recovery tests for clients, IT housekeeping visits to his regular clients and plenty of time working on the Helpdesk. Hugely knowledgeable, self-assured and easy going, Stuart is always contributing his thoughts and suggestions to assist with the smooth running of client support and projects.

With over 20 years IT experience, qualified MCP, MCTS and MCSA Windows Server 2016, Ricky is positive, capable, hard working and very calm. The clients feel well looked after, as they should, and Ricky’s ability to work through his calls effectively and productively speaks volumes for us.

Paul works in the Helpdesk team and has a broad range of experience in data and voice. Paul enjoys problem solving and is always happy to offer help and guidance on any issue our customers may have.

Brandon's role is pre-configuring hardware in readiness for installation and helping administrate the managed services for the Helpdesk Team.
Accounts Assistant

Jenny started with HBC on a part-time basis helping with the Accounts work, particularly Invoicing, Credit Control and Purchase Ledger. She also helps in other areas of administration including filing and assisting with incoming calls.
Receptionist
Joined HBC in 2018
Marcia’s role is to manage the incoming calls and support requests, deal with customer and supplier queries and assist with other administrative and accounts tasks. Marcia also provides support for the sales team.
