In the 1990s, we were focussing on Microsoft Windows and had grown our client base from accounting, to include education, healthcare and corporate business. We started to grow our services and focused on the increasing importance of security and connectivity.
With the UK-wide roll-out of broadband in the 2000’s (remember those dark years of dial-up and ISDN access?), the management team quickly realised that within a year or so, wide area networking would undergo a revolution and the decision was made to change direction and specialise in network security, servers and corporate IT infrastructure.
Within a short time the company had new experts on board and was gaining many new clients through word of mouth and high standards of service. Additions to the portfolio over subsequent years included, Compaq (HP), , Sonicwall (Security solutions) & IGEL (Thin clients).
Then in 2012 we successfully acquired NeFu to add to our offering. Networking Fundamentals Ltd (NeFu) was formed in 2000 by engineers with an engineering background in LAN & WAN technologies.
Following the move to our current Romsey offices in 2001, our business is based on Microsoft networks incorporating Sonicwall firewalls, anti-virus and email security, connectivity, Office and Sage applications. Our virtual IT department service incorporating helpdesk, installation work and scheduled visits is also a large part of our business today and for our future.
