More and more businesses, schools, government agencies and libraries are connecting to the Internet to meet their organisational and educational goals. In doing so, they are faced with the need to control access to inappropriate or objectionable Web sites. Without that control, businesses risk productivity losses, liability exposure and misallocation of bandwidth due to non-productive Web surfing. |

| HBC can supply a suite of products which can effectively manage website access by instigating rules and criteria which if not complied with will deny or restrict web site access for the user base. These include the following :-
Content filtering applications
Transparently enforce productivity and protection policies and block inappropriate, illegal and dangerous Web content. Also blocks multiple categories of objectionable Web content, providing the ideal combination of control and flexibility to ensure the highest levels of productivity and protection.
Internet profiling
By utilising various black and white listings the user base can be profiled to restrict or allow access to various websites depending on their appropriation.
Enforced Anti-Virus policies
This technology has been a joint development between McAfee and Sonicwall and works on the principle that whenever a PC attempts to send traffic to the Internet through the SonicWALL Internet security appliance, a request for the latest version of the VirusScan Ant-virus file is automatically returned to the desktop. If the PC fails to respond, the SonicWALL Internet security appliance automatically triggers a transparent response and Internet access is effectively denied. Thereafter all users are centrally monitored, managed and meticulously auto-updated before being allowed to access the Internet.
