Sage Payroll is available in two separate versions, firstly as Sage Instant Payroll - an easy to use application specifically designed for small businesses that enables the processing of employees' wages without the need to understand the complexities of payroll legislation. 

For small to medium businesses, the more comprehensive Sage Payroll version 12.0 provides extensive payroll facilities and a wealth of features, additional modules are also available which add many other accounting capabilities. The Payroll Professional module was specifically designed to meet the needs of companies with more complex payroll requirements adding features such as Microsoft Office integration and reconciliation assistance. The Payroll Bureau module is designed to manage multiple payrolls and ideal for companies that offer a bureau service or for businesses with five or more companies.

  • Excel integrated reporting - import figures direct from Sage payroll data file
  • Historical reporting by financial year
  • Payroll processing over year end - process wages for new tax year without having to close year end figures

  • Exception reporting - automatically report on irregularities, based upon pre-determined variance settings
